Istiftaa (Iftaa) – Seeking Shariah Guidance
What is Istiftaa?
Istiftaa (also known as Iftaa) refers to the process of seeking Islamic guidance and answers to Shariah-related questions from qualified scholars. Throughout Islamic history, Muslims have turned to trustworthy Muftis (jurists) to help them understand rulings related to worship, transactions, family matters, and daily life.
In today’s world, with so many challenges and new issues emerging, it is even more important for Muslims to have a reliable place to ask their questions and receive authentic answers rooted in the Qur’an and Sunnah, according to the understanding of the scholars of the Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jama‘ah.
