Alima Islamic Teacher

    White Masjid is seeking a qualified and dedicated Alima to lead and coordinate our Sisters’ Program. The candidate will be responsible for teaching Islamic studies, conducting educational sessions, and organizing religious programs for women of all ages. This role is crucial in fostering a welcoming and enriching environment for the sisters in our community.

  • Job Responsibility

    Islamic Education & Teaching

    • Conduct Quran Tafseer, Hadith, and Fiqh classes for women.
    • Teach Tajweed, Islamic history, and spiritual development courses.
    • Mentor and provide one-on-one Islamic guidance to sisters.

    ✅ Program Development & Coordination

    • Plan and oversee weekly halaqas, workshops, and lectures.
    • Organize special events for Ramadan, Eid, and other Islamic occasions.
    • Develop youth and revert support programs for sisters.

    ✅ Community Engagement & Support

    • Offer counseling and emotional support based on Islamic principles.
    • Encourage active participation of women in Masjid activities.
    • Work with the Masjid leadership to enhance the Sisters’ Program.

  • Educational Requirement

    ✔ Educational Background:

    • Graduate from a recognized Islamic institute (Alimiyyah Degree preferred).
    • Strong knowledge of Quran, Hadith, Fiqh, and Islamic Studies.

    ✔ Skills & Experience:

    • Prior teaching experience in an Islamic environment (preferred).
    • Fluent in English and Arabic/Urdu (preferred but not required).
    • Excellent communication and public speaking skills.
    • Passionate about women’s empowerment and community service.

    ✔ Personal Qualities:

    • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
    • Kind, approachable, and patient in dealing with community members.
    • Ability to connect with women of diverse backgrounds.
